Railroad ties can be the perfect solution to your landscaping
challenges.
While their uses are many, they work especially well for raised beds,
retaining walls and as driveway liners.
Railroad ties must be ordered through our
Mentor Store but can
be picked up at either our Mentor or Windsor location.

Railroad Ties come in 8.5 ft lengths.
We also have CCA Treated Southern Yellow Pine (SYP) landscape ties.
Delivery is available.
Some things to consider when working with Railroad ties:

No two are the same

The average 8.5 ft Railroad Tie weighs approximately 100 lbs. Please plan accordingly if you are going to pickup Ties rather than have them delivered.

When planting near a Railroad Tie, allow at least six inches from the edge of the Tie to your plant.
